How to send email with SMTP

Connect SMTP in WalletPush Settings so automations and member email actually deliver. Gmail, Resend, Postmark, SendGrid, Mailgun, Brevo, or custom SMTP.

Open Settings → Email/SMTP (/business/settings?tab=smtp).

Until SMTP is enabled and a test succeeds, automation emails and CRM-style mail will not leave WalletPush.

Steps

  1. Open Settings and the Email/SMTP tab.
  2. Click Enable.
  3. Pick a provider (Gmail, Resend, Postmark, SendGrid, Mailgun, Brevo) or Custom SMTP.
  4. Fill host, port, username, password, from name, and from email. Most providers use port 587 and TLS.
  5. Click Save Settings.
  6. Click Test Connection. Do not skip this. Fix the error before you build email automations.

Gmail

Gmail SMTP (smtp.gmail.com) usually needs an app password, not your normal login password. Create the app password in Google Account → Security, then paste it into WalletPush.

After it works

  • Build send-email actions in Automations.
  • Edit reusable layouts under Email Templates (/business/email-templates).

The AI Assistant cannot store your SMTP password for you. Open Settings and paste it there.
