Terminals and POS scanning
Create WalletPush terminals to scan Apple Wallet and Google Wallet passes, look up members, and take in-person actions.
Open Terminal Management (/business/terminal-management).
A terminal is a staff screen (phone, iPad, or counter laptop) that scans a pass and runs in-person actions: look up the member, redeem an offer, add points, or take a payment if you enabled those capabilities.
Steps
- Open Terminal Management.
- Create a terminal: name, location, and capabilities (what staff are allowed to do).
- Assign a team member if you want a dedicated login.
- Open the terminal URL on the device (or copy the link from the terminal row).
- Sign in with the terminal / staff login when prompted. Terminals do not use the normal dashboard session.
- Scan the pass barcode / QR and confirm the member record before taking an action.
Tips
- Pair a terminal with booking calendars when the same desk handles walk-ins and appointments (Bookings).
- Test with your own pass first. If the scan does nothing, the pass template must include a barcode / QR and the member must actually have installed the pass.
- Keep terminal links off public landing pages.
